Jodie McAfee, Managing Partner


Jodie is responsible for business development, agency relations and account management for Boomerang iTV. Previously Jodie was Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Marketing at The Media Group, a leader in the development and execution of interactive television initiatives for advertisers and content providers.  At TMG, Jodie was responsible for business development, iTV evangelization, marketing and corporate communications.  Jodie’s marketing duties extended to TMG’s eight, owned-and-operated, targeted transactional TV channels, such as Men’s Outdoors & Recreation. He also spearheaded some of the first iTV ad campaigns with major advertisers, including Mercedes-Benz, Sony Pictures, Hewlett-Packard and Nike. Prior to TMG, Jodie served as managing partner at Cayde & Associates, a broadband video start-up, where he was responsible for content acquisitions and the development and distribution of niche broadband channels. Previously, Jodie served as vice president of Worldwide Marketing for Crown Media International, parent of The Hallmark Channel’s international arm, where he was responsible for all affiliate and consumer marketing and public relations initiatives. He has also held positions at Soundbite Communications and Columbia Tri-Star Television.


Greg Fawcett, General Partner

Previously, Fawcett was Vice President of Business Development for IMG Media where he was responsible for media sponsorship sales, content licensing, and content strategy. He was responsible for generating more than $24M in revenue for IMG from sponsorship and service sales. During his tenure at IMG, Fawcett launched digital businesses for NBC and Sprint's Power View Service of original video programming. Prior to joining IMG, Fawcett was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at software developers Sequence Design and Avant!/Synopsys, where he enlisted Sun Microsystems and Hewlett Packard as sponsors. Fawcett helped to develop a contextual online commerce product as Vice President of Marketing and Business development for wireless internet startup iSilk, where he helped close the company's first round of financing for $10M. Fawcett has also worked in strategic planning for the News Corporation and in product development for New York Times Digital. He began his career in government and politics including running City Hall operations for the Mayor of New York.


Amy Townsend, General Partner

Amy directs interactive TV initiatives for Boomerang iTV and is a founding partner. Most recently, she served as Vice President of The Media Group's iTV Group, a professional services organization that produced compelling and responsive interactive television experiences for clients such as Ford, Chase, Reebok, Procter& Gamble and DaimlerChrysler. Her team offered advertisers and programmers end-to-end, advanced marketing solutions that included interactive strategy, creative, production, development and data analysis. Amy also plays a role in evaluating new technology, platforms and research partners to build on the organization's emerging media offerings. Townsend brings 18 years experience in media, entertainment and advertising and has worked at several top traditional and interactive advertising agencies.
